Why my blog is not showing in Google search|How to Make Blog Posts Appear on Google

You might have tried searching your own blog article on Google. However, the writing that you have published may not be listed in the search results.

Why don't blog posts appear on Google's search results page?

You might have tried searching your own blog article on Google. However, the writing that you have published may not be listed in the search results, that is certainly very disappointing.

Automatically, Google will index your blog slowly. Once indexed, new blogs can appear on Google. This process can sometimes take from five minutes to several weeks.

Actually, you can use the Google Search Console so that the blog and its contents can appear directly in the search results. This facility is available for all Blogger users. Google Search Console is an online tool that can speed up the indexing process. How to use it is not so complicated.

Google Search Console for Blogspot Blogger

The Google Search Console is a tool intended for web owners (webmasters) to verify the indexing status, visibility and ownership of the website. This tool is also compatible with the Blogger platform.

In other words, the Google Search Console is a versatile facility. Search Console can be used to speed up the index process and monitor traffic and Blogger website performance.

Follow the following steps to use the Google Search Console on the Blogger platform!

Step 1: Set Blogger Privacy

Before using Search Console, make sure the privacy settings of the blog are publicly set. Check the settings through the

1.Blogger panel control  2.Settings 3. Privacy 4.Visible to search engines 5. Allow search engines to find your blog.

Also make sure the blog is publicly accessible. Check through Blogger 1. Settings 2. Permissions 3. Reader access 4. Public.

Step 2: Create a Property in Search Console

You can access the Search Console through the Blogger panel control. 1.Go to Settings 2. Crawlers and indexing 3. Google Search Console.

You will be asked to log in to the Google account that you already have. We recommend using the same email that is used in the Blogger account. After that, the front page of the Search Console will appear. There are two types of properties that you can choose from, Domain type and prefix URL.

Select the prefix URL type property. Then input the website address, complete with https and www. For example "https://example.blogspot.com" or "https://www.example.com".

Make sure the address you are inputting is correct. After that click Continue.

Step 3: Verify Blog Properties with Blogspot Domains

If you use the Blogspot domain, Google Search Console will automatically verify blog ownership.

A window pop-up will appear and tell that the blog has been verified. This happens because Blogger and Search Console are both Google affiliate products.

Step 4: Add a Blogger Site Map to the Search Console

Site maps or sitemaps are basically a content list of the web content that you have. We need to enter the sitemap into the Search Console so Google finds our content easily. Without maps, Google can confuse the direction and time of the indexing for a long time.

From Search Console, open Index > Sitemaps. Then in the Enter sitemap url section, just type sitemap.xml and press SUBMIT. After that, type sitemap-pages.xml and press submit to enter the static page sitemap.

Please note that sitemap.xml is a site map that contains all the main posting URLs.

Meanwhile, sitemap-pages.xml contains static page URLs such as About Me and Contact pages.

Both maps of the site will be updated automatically every time you add or delete posts.

Step 5: Use the Inspection URL and Perform the Indexing Process

To index posts, use the Inspection URL in the Google Search Console. This inspection tool looks like a search box in the upper middle.

Just enter the post url into the box and press enter. Your post will be analyzed in a few seconds.

After the analysis is complete, Google Search Console will notify you that the URL is not on Google. That is, the post has not been indexed. Google hasn't entered the article link into the data base.

To have the post indexed immediately, click the REQUEST INDEXING button. Wait a few seconds for the indexing request to succeed.

After the index request has been sent successfully, wait a while for the post to be visited by Googlebot. The article will be posted on Google after Googlebot successfully visits the post.

Usually, it only takes about 5-10 minutes until the indexing process is successfully carried out. However, if Googlebot is busy, sometimes the URL is still not indexed after 24 hours. You may re-excest indexing.

Check again the post URL over Inspect URL. If the inspection results show that the URL is on Google, the indexing process has been successful! Now your blog posts can be found in Google search results.

Repeat this step for all URLs on your blog. Index the main address of the blog too.

Remember, every time you post new content, make sure you do the indexing process so that the post can appear immediately on Google.

Check Is the Blog Articles has listed on Google

To find out if a blog post has really appeared, search Google with the keyword site:https://example.com. For example, site:https://www.Sadhubani.blogspot.com, you will see the URL list that has been indexed on Google.

You can replace the blog address with a specific article URL, for example site:https://www.Sadhubani.blogspot.com/2020/08/cara-so-posting-blog-appearing-on-google.html. You can see if this post has been indexed.

Improve Ranking After Indexed Blogs

After the blog has indexed on Google, everyone from all over the world can find your writing. There is pride in it when the articles we have made can be searched through Google.

Even though the blog has indexed, not necessarily your article appears on the first page of Google's search results. In general, articles that have a rating of 1 to 7 will appear on the first page.

Please note that 92% of Google users visit articles that appear on the first page. Only 6% of users visit the article on the second page. The lower the ranking, the fewer Google users who visit the article.

It is therefore important for us Bloggers to write articles that are relevant and informative so that Google users want to visit our blog.
